I earned my degrees in Special Education and Mathematics from the University of Connecticut and Central Connecticut State University. I have nearly three decades of experience as a teacher and tutor, and I enjoy working with students in individual settings and in small groups. I can tutor a wide variety of subjects, including algebra, pre-calculus, anatomy, reading, English, writing, phonics, science, and others. I can also help students prepare for standardized tests like the ISEE, HSPT, and SSAT. I take the time to get to know my students' goals, challenges, and learning styles, and I like to fine-tune my approach to suit each student. I cultivate a respectful, productive learning environment and I enjoy building a rapport with students through acting as a positive role model. I am passionate about education, and helping my students meet and exceed their academic goals is incredibly rewarding to me. When I'm not tutoring, I like to spend time with my dogs at the dog park, motorcycling, and visiting the ocean.

Working with my dogs, visiting the beach, taking the dogs to dog parks to play and meet other dogs. I used to ride a motorcycle but found it hard to use it much of the year back east!
